Location: Locality is roughly 800 m south of Kontrashibuna Lake, 3.6 km E-SE of Kasna Creek. Flying over Kontrashibuna Lake in Lake Clark National Park and Preserve. We landed at the east end of the lake for photography and fishing. The lake is known for its brilliant turquoise color. Begin this hike on the Tanalian Falls trail; continue past the falls to the shore of Kontrashibuna Lake. This long, narrow lake is nestled between steep mountains on either shore.
